Vianney Les Evadés album, Digi Mart USA News (France): Isolated for a month in a forest cabin he built with his own hands, Vianney, one of the most popular singers in French variety music, has emerged with a fifth album titled “Les Évadés,” which was released today (November 6) in stores.

After a period away from the media spotlight, the 35-year-old artist, who was introduced to the wider public in 2014 with “Pas là,” wanted to give meaning to this new album, whose first single, “D’or et d’étain,” listeners may already know.

The cabin was “extraordinary for my reconstruction,” Vianney said.

“I didn’t know why, but I could see that I had to act one way or another, and radically. The change was going to go through a period of solitude, effort and nature…

I think notoriety, success and money are poisons. You have to know how to manage the dose, otherwise you poison your life and betray yourself.

You need mental hygiene, and that hygiene is your loved ones.

You can recover from a record that doesn’t work, but you cannot absorb your mother’s cancer. There is still a scale of values and priorities.”

“The cabin helped me with that, the forest, with humility,” said the singer-songwriter, who turned his small house into a studio as well as a promise of “transmission,” having just become a father for the second time thanks to little Rita.

Once the artist had finished the construction, he said, it was clear how it should go. “I shut myself in, and it was magical.

All I had to do was write, compose, nourish myself, and wash intermittently… I recorded in the cabin, then I took a week with musicians to re-record, still on tape.

Then we went into the studio and redid the songs. In the end, I kept cabin versions and studio versions.”

Honored several times at the Victoires de la Musique awards, he is now planning his next tour, so as not to “explode in flight,” he told AFP.

“I have made very different arrangements for this tour. I will be with the team, but on a tighter schedule, not from morning to night…

There, I will allow myself moments of rest. That is the big novelty.

And I am doing only one city per week (often with several dates, editor’s note). I move less, and the family can settle in the city with me.”
