Paige Bueckers and Azzi Fudd breakup, Digi Mart USA News: Paige Bueckers and Azzi Fudd are no longer in a relationship.
On the latest episode of Fudd’s podcast, with Bueckers as a guest, the Dallas Wings teammates announced they had split up. They said the breakup happened over a year ago, before Fudd was selected No. 1 in the 2026 WNBA draft.
Bueckers and Fudd were also teammates for four seasons at Connecticut, from 2021 to 2025. They went public with their relationship in 2025, when Bueckers appeared on the WAG Talk show on TikTok.
After Fudd was drafted by the Wings in April, Bueckers spoke at the team’s media day about the two separating their personal relationship from their work as teammates. “Me and Azzi have always been the utmost professional,” she said.
“We’ve always conducted ourselves as such, and we’ve never let anything that happens off the court carry onto the court.”
Bueckers added that the two had long experience keeping their professional roles separate. “We have countless reps at it,” she said.
“We will continue to use that experience to show up and be professionals, great teammates, great leaders, the hardest workers, and continue to show up and do our job and help the Dallas Wings win basketball games.”
Bueckers was the No. 1 pick by Dallas in the 2025 draft. She and Fudd are the first pair of college teammates to be taken with the top pick in the WNBA draft since fellow UConn players Tina Charles in 2010 and Maya Moore in 2011.
The Wings won a franchise-record 27 games during the 2026 regular season and made the playoffs for the first time in three years. They lost in the first round to the eventual champion Golden State Valkyries.
Bueckers earned All-Star selection for the second consecutive year. Fudd ranked fourth among all rookies with 13.1 points per game and shot 39.7 percent from three-point range.
