Marine Star Academy Coperni dress final with Ebony, Digi Mart USA News: The French reality singing competition Star Academy is marking its 25th anniversary this year, although the show has aired 13 previous seasons. To mark the occasion, TF1 has invited all previous winners, from Jenifer to Ambre, to perform alongside the contestants of the 14th season.
Among the most anticipated returns is Marine, who won the 12th season on October 12, 2024. Originally from the Nord-Pas-de-Calais region, she attended the Dammarie-les-Lys château during that season and made a strong impression from her first appearance with a performance of Robert Charlebois’s “Ordinaire.”
For the final, Marine wore a sculptural, futuristic mini dress by the French house Coperni. The black garment featured metal snap fasteners that gave it an almost architectural look, reflecting the minimalist and bold signature of the brand.
The dress was conceived as a counterpart to the outfit worn by Ebony, the other finalist, who appeared in the same design in white and in a long version. The contrast of black and white, short and long, created a visual dialogue between the two performers.
Since her win, Marine has shown a more defined personal style. She has traded her blonde bob for a more structured chestnut cut and has adopted a more feminine and glamorous wardrobe, including long cocktail dresses for red carpets and a leather bomber jacket for a rock-inspired look.
