Everton linked with Coventry midfielder Jack Rudoni, Digi Mart USA News: Everton are reportedly among four Premier League clubs monitoring Coventry City midfielder Jack Rudoni ahead of tonight’s meeting between the sides at Hill Dickinson Stadium.

According to BritBall, citing German outlet fussball-news.de, Everton, Leeds United, Newcastle United and Fulham have all shown interest in the 25-year-old. Leeds and Newcastle are said to be the most active of the four clubs, with both considering further steps toward a possible move.

There has been no reported offer or formal approach from Everton.

Rudoni has scored three goals in nine Premier League appearances this season, making him Coventry’s leading league goalscorer ahead of Friday night’s fixture. The attacking midfielder found the net against Newcastle, Tottenham and Sunderland in October, having helped Frank Lampard’s side secure promotion from the Championship last season.

He joined Coventry from Huddersfield Town in 2024 and has become an important member of Lampard’s team, operating primarily in an advanced midfield role. The report claims Leeds have tracked Rudoni for around a year, while Newcastle have regularly sent scouts to Coventry matches.

Everton and Fulham are also named among the interested clubs, although neither is reported to have taken concrete steps toward a transfer.

The timing of the speculation is notable, with Rudoni preparing to face Everton tonight. David Moyes said on Thursday that Everton currently have no plans for the January transfer window.

That does not necessarily mean the club have stopped assessing potential signings, but there is no indication that a move for Rudoni is imminent.

For now, the reported interest remains at the monitoring stage, with Rudoni expected to be involved when Coventry visit Hill Dickinson Stadium for the 8pm GMT kick-off.
