N’oubliez pas les paroles casting call in Normandy, Digi Mart USA News (Normandy, France): The France Televisions program “N’oubliez pas les Paroles!”, hosted by Nagui, is once again looking for contestants who live in Normandy. According to the report, the production had already issued a similar appeal in April, and response from the region has been limited.
The show’s format asks contestants to sing a song’s title and then guess a missing line. Candidates must first pass an audition, and local vocal coaches contacted by ICI Normandie said Normans can be naturally shy, though anyone can take part.
ICI Mayenne presenter Gauthier Paturo joined the show in 2016 “for fun” and went on to become one of its most successful contestants, winning 20 consecutive times. Interested residents can apply through a short online form.
The report also notes that Héloïse, a Normandy contestant who was discovered on “N’oubliez pas les paroles,” returns to the Masters on France 2 that evening. She is also releasing a new single, “Robin des Bois,” an intimate slam about coming of age, under the name Héloïse Vallier.
In a separate item, the report says Irish rider Ben Healy won stage 6 of the Tour de France on Thursday between Bayeux and Vire, attacking alone 42 km from the finish. Mathieu van der Poel took the yellow jersey from Tadej Pogačar by one second.
