Gemini Omni 1.2 Flash video model, Digi Mart USA News: Google has begun rolling out Gemini Omni 1.2 Flash, a video generation model that offers native 15-second video creation, improved reference adherence and multi-turn conversational editing. According to the company, the update lowers costs by 30% and provides better consistency for professional projects.
The model is generally available across the Gemini API and Gemini for business, and its capabilities can also be used in Google Vids. Google said the pricing has been reduced 30% from Gemini Omni 1.1, to $0.07 per second for 720p video.
Users can draft quickly at 360p or 720p, make follow-up edits to fix individual details instead of regenerating an entire clip, and then upscale their best results to 1080p or 4K. The model now supports clips up to 15 seconds long, up from 10 seconds with Omni 1.1, with duration selectable in one-second increments from 3 to 15 seconds.
Google said Omni 1.2 Flash can be guided by character, product or style images, short motion clips of up to three seconds, and audio cues. The company said faces, garments, packaging typography and brand colors remain consistent across camera angles, which it said can support virtual try-on clips, catalog spins and branded video ads.
The update also includes multi-turn conversational editing, allowing users to refine a clip step by step, such as swapping a product or background, changing lighting or weather, or switching aspect ratio. Google said this works across full 15-second clips, making it easier to produce ad variants for different audiences and placements.
Google also said the model produces more fluid dialogue, clearer lip-sync and distinct multi-speaker conditioning, and that it has reduced unwanted jump cuts in complex camera movements. The company said outputs carry an imperceptible SynthID watermark and that Provisioned Throughput is available for enterprise customers backed by Google Cloud infrastructure and security.
Google acknowledged that development is ongoing to improve fast sports action, rapid script changes and complex physics. The company said Gemini Omni 1.2 Flash is intended for businesses, developers and creators producing videos at scale, and that it is rolling out across Google’s products and developer platforms.
