Cold Front 4 rain forecast Mexico: Cold Front 4 Brings Four Days of Rain and Cooler Temperatures to Mexico: Mexico's National Civil Protection Coordination issued recommendations as rain, wind gusts and low temperatures are expected across the north, northeast and other regions through the coming days, with heavy downpours forecast for Sunday, November 8.

Cold Front 4 rain forecast Mexico, Digi Mart USA News (Mexico): The National Civil Protection Coordination (CNPC) has issued a series of recommendations ahead of rain, wind gusts and low temperatures associated with Cold Front No. 4, which is expected to keep cold conditions in several regions of Mexico over the coming days.

The frontal system will bring precipitation of varying intensity and a drop in temperatures, mainly in the north and northeast of the country. Civil Protection urged the public to avoid crossing flooded streets, rivers and creeks, to drive with caution, and to stay away from trees, poles and billboards that could fall due to wind gusts.

According to the forecast from the National Meteorological Service (SMN), Cold Front No. 4 will extend over the north, northeast and east of the national territory, where it will interact with other atmospheric systems. Showers and heavy rain are also expected in states across the north, center, east and southeast of the country.

Moisture entering from the Pacific Ocean will cause heavy localized rain on the coast and east of Guerrero, as well as showers and rain in the west and south of the country and on the Yucatán Peninsula. The cold air mass associated with Cold Front 4 will keep temperatures lower in the north and northeast of Mexico.

For Sunday, November 8, very heavy rain with intense localized amounts (75 to 150 mm) is forecast, with heavy rain of 50 to 75 mm also expected in other areas. Showers with localized heavy rain (25 to 50 mm) are forecast in additional regions.

For Monday, November 9, showers with localized heavy rain (25 to 50 mm) are expected, along with intervals of showers (5 to 25 mm) in other areas.

On Tuesday, November 10, showers with localized heavy rain (25 to 50 mm) are expected, with intervals of showers (5 to 25 mm) also forecast in other areas.

For the Valley of Mexico, rain with intervals of showers (5 to 25 mm) is forecast on Saturday, November 7, Sunday, November 8 and Monday, November 9, in both Mexico City and the State of Mexico. The precipitation could be accompanied by electrical discharges and, on Saturday, possible hail.

Mornings are expected to be partly cloudy with haze, cool conditions and fog banks in some areas, and cold in higher elevations. Afternoons will be warm, with mostly cloudy to cloudy skies and a chance of rain.

Authorities urged residents to follow official warnings and take precautions to reduce risks during the rain. Recommendations include staying informed about forecast updates, since atmospheric conditions can change and alter the intensity of precipitation or the areas affected.

Because of the expected drop in temperatures in the north and northeast, Civil Protection recommended dressing in several layers of clothing and covering the nose and mouth when going outside to avoid sudden temperature changes. It also asked for special attention to children, older adults and people with chronic illnesses.

For households using heaters or fireplaces, adequate ventilation is necessary to prevent carbon monoxide poisoning. Residents were also advised to keep an emergency backpack with important documents, a flashlight, a battery-powered radio and drinking water.

The CNPC said it remains in communication with state and municipal Civil Protection units to monitor the evolution of the weather systems. In case of a risk situation, the public can call 911.
