2027 French presidential election polls, Digi Mart USA News (France): Public opinion surveys are multiplying as the 2027 French presidential election approaches. 20 Minutes has compiled voting intentions measured since February 2026 by three major polling institutes: Ifop, Harris Interactive and OpinionWay. The first-round results and three hypothetical runoff scenarios are summarized below.
In the most recent Ifop wave, with fieldwork closed on October 29, Marine Le Pen received 35 percent of voting intentions, one point more than in its October 19 survey. Jean-Luc Mélenchon obtained 18 percent, up from 15 percent ten days earlier.
Raphaël Glucksmann received 10 percent and Édouard Philippe 9.5 percent, compared with 12 percent on October 19.
Further back in the Ifop ranking, David Lisnard stood at 7 percent, Gabriel Attal at 5 percent, Éric Zemmour at 4.5 percent and Bruno Retailleau at 4 percent. OpinionWay measured the same order of finish in its October 22 survey, with the National Rally candidate reaching 36 percent, ahead of Mélenchon at 16 percent, Glucksmann at 13 percent and Philippe at 12 percent.
Lisnard and Retailleau were tied at 6 percent.
Harris Interactive was the only one of the three institutes to place Édouard Philippe ahead of Raphaël Glucksmann. In its October 21 wave, Le Pen received 33 percent, Mélenchon 17 percent and the former prime minister 15 percent.
Glucksmann followed at 12 percent, then Lisnard at 7 percent, Zemmour at 5 percent and Retailleau at 4 percent.
In the runoff scenario of Le Pen versus Philippe, the gap has widened across all three institutes. In early July, this was the closest of the head-to-head matchups.
All three now give Le Pen the win with 56 to 57 percent of the vote. Ifop moved her from 52 percent at the end of August to 56 percent on October 19.
Harris Interactive moved her from 51 percent in early July to 57 percent on October 21. OpinionWay credited her with 56 percent in its last two surveys, on October 14 and 22.
In the Le Pen versus Mélenchon scenario, no institute has given the La France insoumise leader more than 34 percent since late May. The latest surveys give Le Pen between 68 and 70 percent of the vote: 70 percent at Harris Interactive on October 21, 69 percent at OpinionWay on October 22 and 68 percent at Ifop on October 19.
The Le Pen versus Glucksmann matchup has been tested five times by these three institutes since the end of summer, with the European lawmaker receiving between 41 and 45 percent. Ifop gives Le Pen the win with 57 percent on October 19, compared with 55 percent at the end of August.
OpinionWay measured 56 percent in its two October surveys. Harris Interactive, which asked the question only once, on October 21, produced the widest margin: 59 percent to 41 percent.
