Vitória de Guimarães vs FC Porto match preview, Digi Mart USA News: Ahead of the Primeira Liga clash between Vitória de Guimarães and FC Porto, Vitória coach Luís Pinto expressed confidence in his squad. He said the group feels good, happy and motivated despite a busy schedule that gave the team little time to train.

Pinto noted that the players were able to recover mentally thanks to two days off, something the team had not had for some time. He said the squad is prepared for what he described as a very interesting challenge.

FC Porto coach Francesco Farioli stressed the difficulty of the trip to Guimarães. He said playing away is always hard, especially against a well-prepared opponent, and recalled two difficult matches against Pinto when the coach was at Nacional.

Farioli said Vitória have collected nine fewer points than expected, which he believes has led them to create many chances. He praised their pace and power in attack, saying they are associative but able to attack space, and that they have a clear identity about how they want to play.

Farioli also acknowledged the challenge of playing again after a midweek match. He said his team must show humility and desire to do everything possible to add another victory.
