Lassine Sinayoko Paris FC Ligue 1 form, Digi Mart USA News (Paris, France): Paris FC ended a 53-year drought on Friday when Pablo Pagis was called up to the France national team by Zinedine Zidane. Pagis takes over from Louis Floch and Jean-Paul Rostagni, the last club players to be selected for Les Bleus, who were last called up in 1973.
The former Lorient player, bought for 15 million euros this summer, is rewarded for his strong start, with 2 goals and 1 assist in 9 Ligue 1 matches. With him, Paris FC sits fourth in the table before visiting Auxerre this Saturday at 7 p.m.
Paris FC’s partnership with Lassine Sinayoko is producing excellent results. The 26-year-old Mali international is the club’s standout player so far.
Discovered late at AJA, he is currently the league’s top scorer with eight goals and the third-best assist provider with five, behind Florian Thauvin (seven) and Cristian Cásseres (six), all in just nine matches played.
Sinayoko has been nominated for the LFP’s October player of the month award alongside Thauvin and Elye Wahi. He was also on the September list, losing to Ferran Torres of PSG.
Sinayoko is involved in 13 of his team’s 16 goals.
After Paris FC’s 3-1 win over Monaco last week, Sinayoko said his goals for the season were clear: “We have many objectives, dreams and trophies to go after. This season?
If you ask me, it’s to be champion and for me to be the top scorer.” Signed this summer for only 8 million euros, he is under contract until 2029, but his future is already being discussed, and other clubs have taken notice of his performances.
According to L’Équipe, Paris FC is not overly worried. The striker has been at the club for only three months, and the Paris club has ambitions and the financial means to keep its best players.
A scout cited off the record reportedly mentioned a fee already exceeding 20 million euros for a possible transfer. Paris FC is categorical: at that price, Sinayoko will go nowhere, and any bid would need to be far higher.
