Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang alleged romantic relationship with suspected Chinese spy, Digi Mart USA News: American intelligence reportedly indicates that Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang had a romantic relationship with a woman who in fact spied for China, according to reports by the Financial Times and The New York Times.

Three Republican members of the House of Representatives from different committees have now requested that Huang appear for a closed-door hearing, and they would like him to set aside time on his calendar for November 18.

The New York Times reported last weekend that Alice Huang, head of Singapore-based Megaspeed, had been under surveillance by U.S. intelligence.

Suspicion centered on her alleged role in facilitating the transfer of Nvidia’s sought-after AI chips to China, in violation of U.S. export restrictions in the technology race.

According to the investigation, Alice Huang was allegedly recruited by China’s secret police, the Guoanbu, to supply Beijing with sensitive information, and she allegedly cultivated a close relationship with Nvidia’s CEO and founder, Jensen Huang. According to sources cited by the Financial Times, that relationship was romantic in nature.

Jensen Huang, a Taiwanese-American billionaire who is among the tech world’s closest figures to President Donald Trump, reportedly was informed of the romantic relationship before Trump’s state visit to China in May. Huang was not part of the executive delegation on the flight from Washington, but Trump reportedly stopped in Alaska to pick him up there.

Sources within the U.S. security service have expressed frustration with Huang, the Financial Times reported.

Earlier this year, he reportedly personally tried to persuade Trump to allow Nvidia to export a specific chip to Chinese customers.

Representatives Brian J. Mast, John Moolenaar and Rick Crawford wrote: “New reports raise serious concerns for national security regarding China’s access to sensitive American technology and information.” They added: “It is of critical importance that Congress determine the extent to which U.S.

national security has been put at risk.”
