Le Voyageur Le village assassiné France 3 Éric Cantona, Digi Mart USA News (Vosges, France): France 3 will rebroadcast Le Voyageur: Le village assassiné on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at 10:40 p.m. Éric Cantona stars as Thomas Bareski, who arrives in a village in the Vosges where the murder of a couple and their baby has gone unsolved for six years.
The broadcast follows the earlier episode Le danseur de verre, scheduled at 9:10 p.m. The program is a repeat: the episode was first aired in 2021.
The official France 3 schedule lists a running time of 1 hour 33 minutes.
The case dates back six years, when a father, a mother and their baby were murdered. The crime was never solved, and according to the official synopsis, the village has become nearly deserted since the tragedy.
The episode’s title reflects how the killings affect the community as a whole.
Despite this, a few residents remain determined to move the investigation forward. Bareski’s arrival gives them a chance to revisit the unresolved case, in keeping with the series’ focus on older cold cases.
Cantona shares the cast with Philippe Rebbot as Captain Akerman, Denis Lavant as Alberto, Émilie Incerti as Josepha, and Patrick Descamps as Pierre Schall. Catherine Vinatier, Julie Moulier, Amandine Truffy and Luc Schwarz also appear in supporting roles.
Written by Hervé Korian and directed by Stéphanie Murat, the telefilm was produced by Lissa Pillu, with music by Marco Prince. Production partners include Telecip, France Télévisions, Be-FILMS and RTBF, with participation from RTS.
Filming took place from June 20 to July 16, 2020, in the Grand Est region, with support from the regional government, the Vosges department and the Épinal urban community.
