Luis de Llano apology to Sasha Sokol, Digi Mart USA News (Mexico): The legal team of singer Sasha Sokol says a video containing an apology from producer Luis de Llano had to be approved by both Sokol and the civil judge who found the music producer guilty of moral damage. Sokol shared her lawyers’ explanation on her social media accounts, saying De Llano was again failing to comply with a final court ruling, and she announced she would pursue criminal action against him.

“The court approved the precise text of the apology that Luis de Llano was required to offer. That decision is final and res judicata.

However, the apology he chose to publish is substantially different,” Sokol’s lawyers said. They argued that, under the appearance of legal language, De Llano was changing the substance by replacing an acknowledgment of his position of power and responsibility with expressions presenting the events as a relationship between equals.

According to the legal team, the civil judge set a specific procedure to prevent the apology from re-victimizing Sokol. De Llano was required to first deliver the recording to the court, allow Sokol to review it, and only then obtain the judge’s authorization for release.

The lawyers said he ignored this procedure and published the video anyway.

The lawyers also said De Llano has repeatedly disobeyed judicial orders, resulting in several enforcement measures, including fines and an arrest carried out on September 2, 2026. “Final rulings must be complied with in the terms in which the courts issue them,” they said.

The video was posted on YouTube on a channel identified with the civil case file. In it, De Llano apologized publicly and repeatedly stated that he was doing so only to comply with the sentence against him.

He also referred to an “temporal asymmetry” in the bond he had with the singer during the 1980s.

The following morning, Sokol rejected the apology. She said that, according to the civil court, De Llano was required to acknowledge that he used his position of power over her to abuse her while they were in a relationship at a time when, under the law, she could not consent because she was 14 and he was 39.

Sokol also said De Llano was required to acknowledge that her parents bore no responsibility for the events. She said she will file a criminal complaint over the contempt.
