The club has confirmed that his first effort from that win has been named Goal of the Month. Inter Miami shared the strike on social media, and a number of fans have reacted.
One fan wrote: “Fully deserved. Still is the best player in the world – Inter Miami player Messi.” Another supporter said: “Still moving like this at 39 is crazy!
The only GOAT.” A third replied: “Well deserved for the goat.”
A fourth fan called it “a masterful work of art,” while others simply praised the award as well deserved.
Messi and Inter Miami are set to play their final regular season game of the year on Saturday against Charlotte FC. Miami are second in the Eastern Conference ahead of kick-off and have already secured a playoff berth.
Nashville, with 74 points, has already clinched first place in the division ahead of the final game week.
