Solo Stove Marshawn Lynch holiday gifting campaign, Digi Mart USA News: Solo Stove has launched a playful holiday campaign featuring former NFL running back Marshawn Lynch, positioning its products as gifts people will be happy to receive. The campaign draws on a survey of consumers commissioned by the brand and conducted by PollFish.

According to the survey, 31% of consumers received a gift they did not like in the past year, and 62% said they have faked excitement when opening a present. More than 70% said they know someone in their lives who gives the worst gifts.

Solo Stove used these findings to build the campaign. The research found that 72% of respondents enjoyed receiving its products as gifts, and that many of its stoves are purchased as gifts.

The campaign also arrives as the brand has expanded its portfolio and wants to raise awareness of its growing range.

“A lot of people know us for Smokeless Fire Pits, but we launched 13 new products in the last 18 months,” said Liz Vanzura, chief marketing officer of Solo Brands. “So we wanted to use this holiday gifting season to showcase all of the great holiday gifts that we offer.”

Solo Stove has a partnership with the NFL through the Dallas Cowboys, and the brand said the team does a lot of tailgating. That led the company to work with Lynch and pitch its products as gifts for backyard gatherings and tailgating.

“Marshawn Lynch was a really good fit for us. He is super engaging and really fun,” Vanzura added.

“The Gifts That Don’t Suck campaign encourages people to give memorable gifts that help you get together with your family and your friends.”
