Sønderjyske Fatah Abdirahman dismissal, Digi Mart USA News: Danish club Sønderjyske Fodbold has dismissed head coach Fatah Abdirahman, according to a press release published by the club.
Abdirahman, 34, was originally under contract until the summer of 2030, but his tenure lasted only 14 matches. In the club’s statement he said he had hoped for a considerably longer period of cooperation.
“I am naturally disappointed that it ends here. I had great faith that, together with the staff, I could move the team forward and help achieve the season’s goals,” Abdirahman said.
He added that he had valued his time at Sønderjyske Fodbold and had worked purposefully every day to create development and results. “I would have liked to see more stability and continuity in our performances, and I would very much have liked the opportunity to finish the work,” he said.
