Kings trade Nique Clifford to Thunder, Digi Mart USA News: The Sacramento Kings are sending a former first-round pick to the Oklahoma City Thunder in exchange for future draft assets.
The Kings have traded Nique Clifford to the Thunder for two second-round picks, according to a report by ESPN’s Shams Charania on Sunday.
Clifford, 24, was selected 24th overall in the 2025 NBA draft. He averaged 8.6 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.4 assists over 75 games during his rookie season.
This season, however, he has averaged just 1.6 points and 6.3 minutes through eight games for the Kings.
The move comes after the Thunder sustained potentially season-ending injuries to Jalen Williams and Cason Wallace. Clifford could provide Oklahoma City with serviceable depth on the wing to help fill the void.
