Zwarte Cross 2027 Thursday day tickets, Digi Mart USA News (Lichtenvoorde, Netherlands): Anyone wishing to experience the Thursday of Zwarte Cross in 2027 must stay at the campground in Lichtenvoorde from July 15 to 18, or at least hold a camping ticket. Zwarte Cross is ending the sale of day tickets for Thursday.
Zwarte Cross no longer sells day tickets for Thursday. This option was available since 2024, but it will be discontinued again in 2027.
The organizers announced the change on their website and Instagram, and regional newspapers De Gelderlander and De Stentor also reported it. Thursday will once again be a campsite day.
The decision follows weak sales of Thursday day tickets. While the festival has recently sold out, Thursday day tickets have not, even though major acts such as Armin van Buuren, Within Temptation and Kensington are scheduled.
Sales for Thursday also lag behind Friday and Saturday day tickets. An additional festival day also places heavy demands on staff, and campers reportedly missed the traditional Thursday.
Campers will return to a traditional opening day: setting up tents, unpacking and settling in. Music on the campground starts around 11:00 a.m., with party tents such as the Tirolertent and the Nachtclub.
Part of the festival grounds, including the Megatent and surrounding stages, will be open until midnight, after which campers can keep partying on the campground.
Ticket sales for Zwarte Cross 2027, themed “Rikkie Forever,” are about to begin. Registrations open on November 6, pre-sales start on November 13, and regular sales begin on November 20.
