Limerick GAA 2027 jersey, Digi Mart USA News (Limerick, Ireland): Limerick GAA, in collaboration with Gleeson Sport Scene, released the new jersey on Friday morning, drawing much excitement across the county. The jersey was produced in association with Lyons of Limerick and Ford Limerick.
The Treaty County has opted for a darker shade of green for the upcoming season. The famous Treaty Stone, King John’s Castle and River Shannon are clearly visible on the jersey’s sleeves.
Aaron Gillane and his teammates will be hoping to retain the Liam MacCarthy Cup in 2027 while wearing the new strip. The team followed a flawless 2026, when John Kiely’s charges were in impeccable form, claiming the Allianz League Division 1A title, the Munster title and the All-Ireland title against Galway in July.
The positive mood around the team continued last week, when nine Limerick hurlers received All-Star awards.
The Limerick footballers will also be looking for a positive 2027 under new manager Micheál Cahill, who replaces Jimmy Lee. Lee stepped down earlier this year after a three-year tenure.
Cahill and his squad have set their sights on a positive Allianz League Division 4 campaign and a fruitful Tailteann Cup run next season.
