Victor Osimhen knee surgery and return timeline, Digi Mart USA News: Galatasaray has issued an official statement on the health condition of Victor Osimhen. The Nigerian striker injured his left knee during the UEFA Champions League match against Stuttgart, and MRI tests revealed a loose fragment in the joint.
The club announced that the 27-year-old underwent arthroscopic knee surgery on the same day. The operation was performed by club doctor Yener İnce at Maslak Acıbadem Hospital.
Osimhen is expected to be away from the pitch for approximately three weeks. Following treatment and rehabilitation, he is scheduled to rejoin the squad, and Galatasaray reportedly hopes to have him available for the Aston Villa match on November 24.
Because of the injury, Osimhen will not be available for the Amed Sportif Faaliyetler match and will also miss the Samsunspor match after the international break. Galatasaray will therefore be without one of its key goal scorers in two league fixtures.
Osimhen has played 11 matches this season for Galatasaray, scoring 10 goals and providing 3 assists. After the Amed and Samsunspor fixtures, Galatasaray faces Aston Villa in the Champions League and a Beşiktaş derby in the Süper Lig.
