Vadhir Derbez new rape complaint filed by law firm, Digi Mart USA News (Mexico): Vadhir Derbez has been reported again for allegedly committing the crime of “rape,” the law firm Vega Mac Gregor Arellano confirmed. Partner Leopoldo Vega told the media in an interview that this legal process is different from the one filed last April by an American model, who accuses the actor of “rape – physical or moral violence.”
“It is a new victim, and the investigation will continue in progress, and that is all we can tell you for now,” he said before the cameras of the media program ¡Siéntese Quien Pueda! on November 5.
“We must be very respectful of this investigation. It is a very delicate, very sensitive matter,” he also stated.
Vega added that “we have no information” about whether the son of Eugenio Derbez has already been notified of the complaint, which was “just filed.” In a statement issued on November 4, the firm said that “the complaint filed against Vadhir Derbez [is] for the alleged crime of rape.”
In a conversation with the hosts of ‘Ventaneando,’ attorney Adrián Regino of Vega Mac Gregor Arellano said that on Thursday, November 5, they obtained the commitment of the Office of the Attorney General of the Republic to “call and provide timely follow-up” on the investigation file.
Regino declined to provide details of the case, such as when the alleged events occurred or what happened, saying “these are investigations” and that they aim to protect the person who has raised her voice, meaning their client. “She is a victim who has filed a complaint, and as a complaint it must follow its procedural course, and, I insist, out of respect for the victim and for what is being investigated, I cannot give more information,” he said.
Regino described the judicial process as “quite arduous” and said the next step is “the integration of the file.” “What we seek in this case is to clarify what happened and from there to establish responsibilities if the authority considers it necessary,” he concluded.
As of now, Vadhir has not publicly reacted to the accusation.
