Toluca Díaz Mirón Avenue road closures, Digi Mart USA News (Toluca, State of Mexico): Paving work continues on the stretch from Las Torres to Paseo Tollocan, and residents are asked to use alternate routes.
The Toluca municipal government reports that paving work carried out by machinery known as the Diablo Dragón on Díaz Mirón Avenue, heading toward Paseo Tollocan, is keeping road closures in place between Avenida Las Torres and José María Pino Suárez.
Toluca Mayor Ricardo Moreno asked residents for their understanding and patience, describing the disruption as temporary inconvenience that will lead to lasting benefits for mobility and quality of life for local families.
Drivers are urged to take precautions, avoid the area if possible, or use alternate routes such as Federación, Ignacio Zaragoza, Benito Juárez, Francisco I. Madero or Morelos to reach Paseo Tollocan.
Streets affected in the area include 16 de Septiembre, 2 de Abril, Nezahualcóyotl, Independencia, Vicente Guerrero, Paseo de la Luz, Vicente Villada and José María Pino Suárez in the Santa Ana Tlapaltitlán district.
Working with the State of Mexico government, Toluca says it is continuing efforts to address a long-standing backlog in road infrastructure and restore streets that were in poor condition for years, with works intended to make travel safer and more efficient for residents.
