Nice Volley-Ball Coupe de France win over Fréjus, Digi Mart USA News (Nice, France): Nice Volley-Ball, the finalists of the previous Coupe de France edition, won a Round of 16 match against Fréjus Var Volley on Monday in three straight sets, according to a publisher report. The match was played in the 2026-2027 edition of the competition and was a derby between neighboring clubs from different divisions.

Nice controlled the third set, with a margin of four to six points for most of it. Coach Brice Donat relied mainly on his starting six, while substitutes including JJ Love, Colin Castelnau, Mauro Gay and Sacha Kiciak entered late in the set.
Nice won the third set 25-20 and the match in just over an hour and a half.
