Rosengård vs Hammarby Damallsvenskan match, Digi Mart USA News (Malmö, Sweden): Rosengård hosts Hammarby in the Damallsvenskan on Saturday, November 7, 2026. The match kicks off at 14:00 and is shown free of charge on SVT2 and SVT Play.

Rosengård has important points at stake in the battle to avoid the bottom places, while Hammarby arrives in Malmö after a 7–0 win and with second place in the league already secured.

The match is broadcast live on SVT2 and SVT Play. Coverage begins at 13:50, ten minutes before kickoff.

Viewers can watch without a paid subscription, and those who prefer streaming can open the match on SVT Play. It is also available on Viaplay for subscribers with a package that includes the Damallsvenskan, but SVT’s broadcast is the simplest option for viewers who only want this game.

SVT’s commentator is Pelle Bäckman, with Hanna Marklund as expert and Jane Björck as reporter. The kickoff time was changed: the match was originally scheduled for 15:00 but was moved forward to 14:00 at Hammarby’s request.

The change is linked to Hammarby’s European fixtures, as the earlier start allows the Stockholm club to travel home from Malmö the same evening and prepare better for its next international match. The correct kickoff time is 14:00, although older match calendars may show 15:00.

Rosengård has a great deal to play for with two rounds of the Damallsvenskan remaining. The Malmö club is in eleventh place with 24 points after 24 matches.

IFK Norrköping has the same number of points in twelfth place, which means a relegation playoff spot. Växjö is close behind on 19 points.

The two bottom teams are relegated directly, while the team in twelfth place must enter a qualifying playoff to keep its place.

Rosengård has a five-point lead over Växjö but remains dangerously close to the relegation playoff line. A win over Hammarby would give Rosengård 27 points and guarantee that the team avoids direct relegation.

Växjö can reach at most 25 points from the remaining matches. However, a win would not automatically secure a new contract for next season, as IFK Norrköping could still pass the Malmö club and send Rosengård to the playoff.

The distinction matters: Rosengård can secure a place above the two direct relegation spots without being fully safe for the Damallsvenskan in 2027.

With two rounds left, every point matters, and Rosengård cannot count on results elsewhere resolving its situation. Rosengård has mixed strong defensive performances with matches where the attack has not been enough.

Over its last five rounds, the team has taken seven points. The most recent match against Växjö was especially costly.

Bryleeh Henry gave Rosengård the lead in the tenth minute, but the home side failed to make the advantage stand and saw Tilda Sandén equalize for Växjö in the 88th minute. Two points were lost in a direct meeting between teams trying to avoid the bottom places.

Goalkeeper Moa Edrud made several important saves during that match. Her performances have been a key part of Rosengård remaining above the relegation playoff line.

Earlier this autumn, Rosengård showed it can win close matches, and the September win over Piteå was an important step away from the playoff place.

Against Hammarby the task is considerably harder. The Stockholm club has the league’s second-best table position and has also scored far more goals than Rosengård.

Hammarby has already secured second place in the Damallsvenskan, while BK Häcken became Swedish champions after deciding the title race in early November. Hammarby therefore no longer plays for the league title, but its form heading into the season finale is strong.

On November 1, the team beat IK Uppsala 7–0. Mathilde Janzen scored three goals, and Gudrún Arnardóttir, Ída Hermannsdóttir, Inès Lorenius and Doris Petz also scored in the heavy win.

Hammarby’s four most recent league matches show how clearly the team has bounced back after its loss to Häcken.

Hammarby has scored 61 goals and conceded only 13 in 24 matches. Rosengård’s corresponding figures are 24 scored and 29 conceded.

The difference is large, especially in attack: Hammarby has scored more than twice as many goals as Rosengård this season. That makes the home side’s defensive play one of the most important questions of the match.

Hammarby has also suffered a serious injury blow ahead of the season finale. Fanny Peterson injured her knee in the match against IK Uppsala.

The club has confirmed that she has torn her anterior cruciate ligament and is expected to be out for a long period. Mathilde Janzen is in strong form after her hat trick against Uppsala, and Elin Sørum, Inès Lorenius and Mari Nyhagen are also attacking players that Rosengård will need to control.

Hammarby has plenty of attacking options, but the dense match schedule may affect how the team manages its squad.

Rosengård also has several players on the absence list. The club’s latest match information lists Anni Hartikainen, Cecily Wellesley-Smith and Thea Staffansson as unavailable.

Anastasiya Pobegaylo, Cecilie Larsen and Molly Johansson are among the long-term injured. One of the home side’s most important players is goalkeeper Moa Edrud, who has delivered several decisive performances and was nominated in early November for the Damallsvenskan Player of the Month award.

Among the forwards are Bryleeh Henry and Remy Siemsen. The official starting lineups are not confirmed in the source material for this guide, so the players named here are not a confirmed starting lineup.

Hammarby has already beaten Rosengård twice this year. The first meeting was in the Swedish Cup on February 23, when Hammarby won 4–0 at Malmö IP.

The scorers were Vilde Hasund, Elin Sørum, Emilie Joramo and Mari Nyhagen. When the teams met in the Damallsvenskan opener on March 29, Hammarby won 3–1.

The Stockholm club made an almost perfect start and scored three goals in the first 17 minutes. Sofia Reidy, Vivienne Lia and Fanny Peterson scored Hammarby’s goals.

There is therefore a clear pattern in this year’s earlier meetings: Hammarby has been able to create major problems for Rosengård early in matches. For the home side, avoiding another weak start will be important, since chasing a deficit against such a goal-productive team would make the task much harder.

One factor that could affect Saturday’s match is Hammarby’s European schedule. On October 28, Hammarby won the first leg against Slovakia’s Spartak Myjava 3–1 in the UEFA Women’s Europa Cup.

The return leg is scheduled for November 11 at 19:00 at Hammarby IP. Hammarby therefore has an important European match only four days after its away trip to Rosengård.

There is no confirmed announcement that Hammarby will rest specific players in Malmö, but it is reasonable to expect that the match load will be considered in the lineup selection.

Rosengård has a different focus. For the home side, the main aim is to collect the points needed to secure continued football in the top division.

Hammarby has shown it can decide matches early, since in March the Stockholm club had already scored three goals after 17 minutes. Rosengård needs to be much more organized defensively this time.

Edrud’s goalkeeping has been a strength for Rosengård this autumn, and against Hammarby she may need to make another major contribution. If the home side manages to keep a clean sheet for long periods, its chances of taking points increase.

Hammarby is the favorite based on the season’s results, but the return match against Spartak Myjava means the team must manage a demanding schedule. That could affect the starting lineup, substitutions and how long certain players remain on the pitch.

Rosengård will try to take every opportunity to disrupt Hammarby’s rhythm.

Rosengård plays its final league match away against Brommapojkarna with kickoff at 14:00. Hammarby ends its season at home against Kristianstads DFF at the same time.

For Rosengård, the final round could be decisive in the fight to avoid the relegation playoff. How much is at stake depends on the result against Hammarby and how the competitors in the bottom battle perform.

Hammarby will also play the return leg against Spartak Myjava on November 11, before the Damallsvenskan season ends.

The match is shown on SVT2 and can also be streamed via SVT Play and Viaplay. Yes, SVT2 and SVT Play show the match free of charge, and the SVT Play live broadcast is available in Sweden.

Kickoff is at 14:00 on Saturday, November 7, 2026, and SVT begins broadcasting at 13:50. The match is played at Malmö IP in Malmö, and public admission opens at 13:00.

Rosengård needs to keep IFK Norrköping and other competitors behind it and finish at least eleventh. A win over Hammarby secures that the team avoids direct relegation, but it does not guarantee that the relegation playoff is avoided.
