Blackburn vs West Ham Championship match preview and prediction, Digi Mart USA News (Ewood Park, Blackburn, England): Blackburn Rovers host West Ham United at Ewood Park this Saturday, November 7, at 15:00 UK time, in round 15 of the 2026-27 Championship season. West Ham sit eighth in the table and will be looking to build on Wednesday’s dramatic comeback against Cardiff City in Scott Parker’s first match in charge.

Blackburn, meanwhile, have slipped to 14th after consecutive defeats and will be eager to get back on track in front of their home supporters. The sides have met only four times.

Their most recent encounter came in the 2022 League Cup, when Blackburn won 3-2 away on penalties after a 2-2 draw in normal time.

West Ham’s most recent victory over Blackburn was a 5-1 FA Cup win in 2016, while their two Premier League meetings in 2010 and 2011 both ended in 1-1 draws. The recent record therefore offers little to separate the teams, although West Ham will hope their stronger league position and unbeaten away run can give them the edge this time.

Blackburn sit 14th in the Championship after a mixed start to the campaign. Tony Mowbray’s side have lost three of their last four league matches, including consecutive defeats against Swansea City and Stoke City.

The 4-0 loss away to Swansea was followed by a 2-1 home defeat to Stoke on Tuesday, ending a run of three successive Championship wins at Ewood Park.

Blackburn are five points below the playoff places and will be keen to avoid another setback. Their defensive record remains a concern, but the Rovers have shown they can be dangerous going forward.

A. Guðjohnsen has been a particularly important attacking presence, scoring nine goals in 13 appearances.

Blackburn could also have a selection issue at right-back, with Ryan Alebiosu an injury doubt. Gady Beyuku may be handed a start, while Moussa Baradji is pushing for a place in midfield.

Yuki Ohashi is another option, but Mowbray may otherwise keep faith with much of the side that started against Stoke.

Probable Blackburn line-up: Tóth; Beyuku, Carter, McLoughlin, Pickering; Morsy, Baradji; Fevrier, Cantwell, Afolayan; Guðjohnsen.

West Ham are eighth in the Championship and remain firmly in contention for promotion. They have scored at least six more goals than any other side in the division, underlining their attacking potential, although recent defensive performances have been less convincing.

The Hammers have gone three league matches without a win, but Wednesday’s 3-3 draw away to Cardiff offered encouragement.

They recovered from three goals down to claim a point in Scott Parker’s first match in charge, having previously lost 3-1 to West Brom and 3-2 to Southampton. Their away record is a major positive.

West Ham are unbeaten in seven Championship trips this season, recording three wins and four draws, and will be looking to maintain that run at Ewood Park.

J. Bowen has been one of their leading performers, contributing seven goals and five assists.

Parker could make changes after the Cardiff comeback, with Ezra Mayers, Mohamadou Kante and Joel Piroe all pushing for starting places. Tomas Soucek is another option, although the new manager may prefer to avoid making too many alterations.

Probable West Ham line-up: Hermansen; Veltman, Mavropanos, Kilman, Mayers; Bowen, Engels, Kante, Solomon; Mukasa; Piroe.

West Ham arrive with a formidable unbeaten away record, having scored 18 goals in seven games on the road. Blackburn, on the other hand, have been inconsistent and come into this fixture after two straight defeats.

Based on West Ham’s away form and Blackburn’s recent struggles, the visitors are the favourites, and the source’s main prediction is for West Ham to secure the victory.

Odds mentioned were collected at the time of writing and are subject to change; readers should check their bookmaker for current prices. Broadcast information for the match is not currently scheduled: no TV or streaming broadcast has been confirmed.
