Barneveld Postcode Loterij 1 million euro SuperPostcode prize winners, Digi Mart USA News (Barneveld, Netherlands): Eleven participants of the Postcode Loterij from Barneveld won amounts ranging from 55,555 to 166,666 euro. They played with postcode 3771 VT (Wethouder van Hekezenlaan), where the 1 million euro SuperPostcode prize fell.
The winners were surprised tonight during the television program Carrie op Vrijdag. Postcode Loterij ambassador Gaston Starreveld announced that the 1 million euro would be divided among the eleven participants.
Five of them were present in the program’s clubhouse with presenter Carrie ten Napel.
Starreveld handed the winners present a golden envelope containing the cheque. The participants reacted with surprise when they saw the amount.
The couple Hans and Carla each hold a ticket and together won 111,111 euro. Asked by Ten Napel what they would do with the money, Carla replied: “Dining out with our children and my mother.”
The prize was also a welcome surprise for other winners. One winner wants to fulfill a big dream and take a cruise with his family through the Caribbean.
Neighbors Ellen and Pieter also have plans for their prize. “We have been married for 35 years, and to celebrate that we would like to go on vacation with our children.”
The Postcode Loterij also makes money available for initiatives in the winning postcode. Residents can request a contribution through the Postcode Loterij Fonds for ideas that make the neighborhood greener, more social, or more creative.
