Bomb threats on flights over France, Digi Mart USA News (France): Four new bomb alerts were issued Friday for aircraft flying over French territory, and all four landed safely, according to the office of the French Prime Minister, Matignon. Bomb disposal services are carrying out security inspections on the planes.

Matignon said an investigation is underway to determine the origin of the alerts, which affect all of Europe. The Prime Minister’s services are responsible for security and air defense in France.

According to a source familiar with the case, three of the aircraft landed at Orly and the fourth landed in Bordeaux. Similar alerts have been issued on several flights since the beginning of the week, mostly on low-cost airlines across Europe.

Claims linked to some of the threats, sent to the airports of Rome and Sofia, referred to “male State fighters.” This appears to refer to the name of a Russian ultranationalist movement, although the link could not be verified.
