Lea Salonga 2026 ASEAN Inclusive Growth Summit, Digi Mart USA News (Manila): Lea Salonga is set to serve as a speaker at the 2026 ASEAN Inclusive Growth Summit, which takes place on November 11 in Manila.
The Broadway star is among the featured speakers of the summit, which will bring together leaders from various sectors to discuss Southeast Asia’s economic growth and development. Academy Award-winning actress Angelina Jolie, Kylie Verzosa, Rajo Laurel and Department of Trade and Industry Secretary Cristina Roque are also expected to speak.
Salonga is a theater icon who has brought Filipino talent to the world stage and inspired generations through her contributions to the performing arts. She is known for her acclaimed Broadway performances and as the singing voice of Disney’s Princess Jasmine and Mulan.
Salonga became the 2,855th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and the first Filipino to receive one. She received her star in the Live Performance category.
