Urmond driver arrested for driving without a valid license, Digi Mart USA News (Urmond, Netherlands): A 31-year-old man from Hoogeveen was arrested on Saturday in Urmond. According to the report, the reckless driver wanted to test whether he could get away with driving without a license for a fifth time.
The man had already been fined four times this year for driving without a valid driving license. This time, however, he was able to show a driving license when asked, which surprised police, since he was supposed to have surrendered his license in 2023.
It turned out that the license presented was forged. In addition, the man was carrying 8,000 euros in cash.
He was arrested and his car was seized. The investigation will determine how the man came into possession of such a large amount of money.
