Querétaro state government federal meeting on México-Querétaro train complementary works, Digi Mart USA News (Querétaro, Mexico): The Secretariat of Government of the State of Querétaro expects to hold a meeting in November with federal authorities and municipal presidents to review the progress, characteristics and scope of the complementary works for the México-Querétaro train.
The meeting will take place in the state capital and is expected to provide specific information about the planned interventions in several municipalities. Representatives from the Agencia de Trenes, the Secretariat of Infrastructure, Communications and Transportation (SICT), the Secretariat of National Defense, the state government and the participating municipalities are expected to attend.
Although a date has not yet been set, federal authorities have committed to communicating it this week. The meeting will include a detailed report on each work and the delivery of technical documentation related to the projects.
Among the planned interventions is the Los Patos Bridge in San Juan del Río, designed to facilitate access to the railway station from Federal Highway 57. According to the state agency, the adjustment would free up part of the vehicle traffic within the municipality and reduce the concentration of cars heading to the station.
Separately, SICT has begun presenting the Invierno street project to specific groups through meetings. However, the final proposal is not yet available, so its characteristics and scope will be presented at the next meeting with federal authorities.
Once the complete Invierno street project is available, a public presentation is planned to outline execution timelines, the characteristics of the work and the mobility operation to be implemented during its development. The state Secretariat of Government said it is coordinating with federal agencies to monitor the interventions and convey citizen concerns raised in the different sections where the works are underway.
The planned November meeting is expected to clarify pending technical information and specify the scope of the complementary projects in Querétaro.
