Mexico light vehicle sales October 2026, Digi Mart USA News (Mexico): Light vehicle sales in Mexico rose 3.1% year over year in October 2026, totaling 137,438 units, according to the preliminary results report (Avance de Resultados) of the Light Vehicle Automotive Industry Administrative Registry (RAIAVL) published by Inegi, Mexico’s national statistics institute.
According to Inegi, 4,178 more units were sold in October 2026 than in October 2025. The growth extends a run of eight consecutive months of positive annual increases, as reported by the RAIAVL.
From January through October 2026, Mexico recorded sales of 1,287,268 light vehicles, an increase of 4.8% from the 1,228,108 units sold in the same period of 2025. That cumulative growth outpaced the 1.4% gain recorded in the first ten months of 2025, which suggests a firmer expansion of domestic demand for light vehicles.
