Police eviction of occupied home on México Street in Balvanera, Buenos Aires, Digi Mart USA News (Balvanera, Buenos Aires, Argentina): A police operation with a street closure was carried out on Monday afternoon at México 2900, between Deán Funes and La Rioja, in San Cristóbal, to evict an occupied home.
The procedure was carried out by officers from Vecinal Police Station 3B and, according to neighbors, it was conducted quickly and without incidents.
Vehicle traffic on that stretch of México Street was interrupted during the operation. No risk situations or confrontations were reported.
Officials have not yet officially disclosed how many people left the property as a result of the eviction. The building was reportedly used as a family hotel.
