Beginning on the night of Monday, November 2, Operagua hydraulic control personnel addressed the situation by sectioning off the potable water network, which stopped the loss of water.
On Tuesday, November 3, crews repaired the affected section of the line, replacing more than three meters of 8-inch pipe. The work was completed within a few hours, and water service in the area was restored that same afternoon.
The Cuautitlán Izcalli government is carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance on the municipal hydraulic network, aiming to optimize water distribution to communities and eliminate waste caused by leaks in infrastructure.
