Cruz Azul Femenil final Apertura 2026 match against León, Digi Mart USA News (Cuernavaca, Morelos): Cruz Azul Femenil will play its last match of the Apertura 2026 tournament today when it hosts León as part of Matchday 14 of the Liga Femenil BBVA. The game will be played at the Estadio Centenario in Cuernavaca at 7:00 p.m.

Already eliminated from the playoffs due to the competitiveness of Group A, the Celestes will look to close the tournament with a final victory in front of their fans. The team has had a chaotic season, with several changes in coaching staff.

Cruz Azul comes off a 3-1 away win over Tijuana, a result that surprised many because Tijuana, still fighting for a playoff spot in Group B, were playing at home. Cruz Azul currently has 18 points and sits seventh in its group.

León, the direct rival in the group, also failed to reach the playoffs despite having 22 points. Regardless of the outcome today, Cruz Azul will finish fifth in its group.

This will be the fourth match managed by Joaquín Moreno, who replaced Raúl “Potro” Gutiérrez. So far, Moreno has recorded two losses and one win.
