Casino Caliente G2E Dealer Championship 2026 Las Vegas, Digi Mart USA News (Tijuana, Mexico): Grupo Caliente held a ceremony to recognize employees who represented the company at the G2E Dealer Championship 2026, an international competition in which Casino Caliente Tijuana placed second with dealer Daniel Mora Hernández.
The company also earned another recognition in one of the competition’s additional events. Leslie Ceron Stein of Casino Caliente won first place in the Blindfolded Card Placement contest, which requires placing cards while blindfolded.
The G2E Dealer Championship 2026 took place from September 29 to October 1 as part of the Global Gaming Expo (G2E) in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States. The contest brought together dealers from casinos around the world to test technical skill, precision, speed and customer service.
Grupo Caliente was the only Mexican casino group to take part.
Carlos Valverde Rubizewski, corporate director of operations at Grupo Caliente, said the results were a source of pride for the company and showed that its employees performed at the level of international casino professionals. He explained that the Caliente delegation included five participants who competed against representatives from various casinos, mainly in the United States.
He said three of the company’s representatives advanced through the first round of the competition.
Valverde Rubizewski said the results also reflect the training carried out within Grupo Caliente and employees’ commitment to delivering a quality experience to customers. He detailed that judges evaluated not only technical aspects such as speed, payout accuracy and card handling, but also customer service, reaction capacity and how dealers handled different situations.
He also said one of the participants received a job offer from a casino in Las Vegas, which he cited as evidence of the professional level reached by the company’s staff. He recalled that Grupo Caliente’s participation grew out of learning about a similar competition at the gaming industry’s international convention in Las Vegas.
Based on that experience, the company first organized an internal contest to promote training and competition among its own employees.
Finally, Valverde Rubizewski said the company will continue preparing its staff and seeking new opportunities to take part in international events of this kind, with the aim of strengthening their skills and improving the service it offers customers.
