Xiaomi 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max launch in France, Digi Mart USA News: Technology fans in Europe have a new reason to look at Xiaomi’s flagship lineup. According to a report from DroidSoft, Xiaomi has announced that the Xiaomi 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max will arrive in France this month, ending months of speculation.

Xiaomi confirmed the global rollout of the 18 Pro series in November through a promotional post on X, which showed a white Xiaomi 18 Pro. The report says this is the first time European buyers will receive a Xiaomi smartphone with a secondary display, as the 17 Pro editions were limited to China.

The Xiaomi 18 Pro features a 6.4-inch OLED display with a privacy mode and is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chip. The 18 Pro Max has a 6.89-inch main screen, a 2.86-inch rear screen and an Extreme version of the processor.

It also includes two 200-megapixel camera sensors and weighs 231 grams.

Battery capacity is lower in the European versions. The 18 Pro offers 6,000 mAh instead of the 7,000 mAh available in China, and its wired charging drops to 90 watts.

The 18 Pro Max has 7,050 mAh compared with 8,500 mAh in China, while keeping 100-watt fast charging. French buyers will get black, white and velvet red colors, while blue and pink remain in Asia.

Leaked pricing from Dealabs and pre-orders spotted at an Italian retailer point to 1,399 euros for the 256 GB Xiaomi 18 Pro and 1,599 euros for the 512 GB version. The 18 Pro Max is reportedly priced at 1,599 euros for base storage and up to 1,799 euros for the top model.

The report notes that Europe also receives RAM capped at 12 GB, even as prices rise by several hundred euros compared with earlier models.
