PDC Grand Prix de France darts Liévin March 2027, Digi Mart USA News (Liévin, France): Tickets for the first Grand Prix de France organized by the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) sold rapidly after presale entries opened on Tuesday, November 3. General sale continued on Wednesday, November 4, according to France 3 Régions.

The three-day competition will take place March 19 to 21, 2027, at the Arena de Liévin. The PDC is staging its first event in France, bringing it closer to England and to the Netherlands and Belgium, where several of the world’s top players are based.

More than 50 world-ranked players are expected to compete, and organizers anticipate 30,000 spectators.

The event is one of 15 stops on the European championship circuit. Players will compete for world ranking points and share a prize fund of £270,000, roughly 325,600 euros.

The winner will receive £35,000, or about 41,900 euros.

Co-promoter David Rothschild described the atmosphere as festive. “People come in costume, like for a carnival.

The hall has a giant screen so nothing is missed in the competition, and a DJ will keep the energy up. It’s very festive while the players compete.”

On Tuesday, November 3, 15,000 people bought presale tickets, priced from about 15 euros to 90 euros depending on the session and seating. Friday features qualifying matches in an afterwork atmosphere, Saturday brings in the world’s top players, and Sunday hosts the finals.

Seating options include stands or tables and benches in front of the target.

Organizers say 15,000 seats remain for the three days. A French player, Thibault Tricole, is hoped to participate, but his participation will only be confirmed 15 days before the championship.

If the Liévin stop proves successful, as early sales suggest, it could be renewed for three years.
