AS Saint-Étienne international call-ups Csongvai Paalberg November 2026, Digi Mart USA News: AS Saint-Étienne will have to contend with the departure of several internationals during the November international break. Aron Csongvai has been selected by Hungary for two UEFA Nations League matches, while Marten-Chris Paalberg is included in Estonia’s squad.

Both call-ups could complicate Saint-Étienne’s preparation for their seventh-round Coupe de France tie against Rumilly Vallières, scheduled for Saturday, November 15 in Annecy at 3 p.m.

The international break is approaching, and call-ups are beginning to arrive for AS Saint-Étienne. After several international gatherings since the start of the season, the club’s players continue to attract attention from their national teams.

This time, Aron Csongvai and Marten-Chris Paalberg are affected. The individual recognition, however, creates additional constraints for coach Ian Cathro as the Greens prepare for their Coupe de France opener.

As expected, Aron Csongvai is included in the squad announced by Marco Rossi for Hungary’s next two matches.

Hungary will first travel to Georgia on November 14, before hosting Northern Ireland on November 17 in the UEFA Nations League.

That schedule is incompatible with Saint-Étienne’s. The Greens face Rumilly Vallières on Saturday, November 15 at 3 p.m.

in Annecy in the seventh round of the Coupe de France.

Aron Csongvai will therefore not be able to take part in that match. It is an additional absence Cathro must plan for, as he will need to adapt his midfield selections.

The Hungarian midfielder had a difficult outing at Guingamp, where he was substituted at halftime during the Greens’ heavy 3-0 defeat. This call-up nonetheless confirms that he retains the confidence of his national team coach.

Another Saint-Étienne player affected is Marten-Chris Paalberg. The young striker has again been called up by Jürgen Henn for Estonia’s upcoming international fixtures.

Estonia will face Luxembourg and Bulgaria in the Nations League. For Paalberg, it is already his fourth call-up to the senior national team.

It is an encouraging step for the young Saint-Étienne player, who continues to develop in international football.

His presence in the Estonian squad is also expected to rule him out of the Coupe de France fixture. He could have made his professional debut, but that appears unlikely for the young Estonian.
