Larsa Pippen brain aneurysm diagnosis, Digi Mart USA News: A Real Housewives of Miami star has shared a devastating health diagnosis with her social media followers. Larsa Pippen posted to her Instagram Story on Nov. 5 with the news.
The 52-year-old reality star shared a screenshot about Matt Damon’s wife’s recent struggle with a brain aneurysm and the resulting surgery. “I get diagnosed with a brain aneurysm yesterday, and I wake up to this,” Pippen wrote over the screenshot, according to Page Six.
She then wrote, “I’m sick,” adding a crying emoji. So far, Pippen has not elaborated beyond the brief post.
Damon previously detailed how his wife, Luciana Barroso, suffered a brain aneurysm in 2024. She had corrective surgery the week before that year’s Oscar ceremony.
“We had this whole scary thing happen where my wife had a brain aneurysm,” Damon told GQ in a cover story. “She’s totally fine, thank God, but [she] had this brain surgery the week before the Oscars.”
Damon said his wife surprised him by getting a dress and attending an after-party because she remembered he had not gone the last time it happened. “She was like, ‘This time we’re going out,'” Damon recalled, calling it “pretty f — ing heroic” of her.
According to the Mayo Clinic, a brain aneurysm is a bulge or ballooning in a blood vessel in the brain. If an aneurysm ruptures, it can quickly become life-threatening and requires emergency treatment.
The Mayo Clinic also notes that most brain aneurysms are not serious, especially if they are small.
Pippen was married to NBA legend Scottie Pippen for more than 20 years. They have four children: Scotty Jr., 26, Preston, 24, Justin, 21, and Sophia, 17.
She later dated Marcus Jordan, son of Michael Jordan, for more than a year; the couple split in February 2024.
