Fernando Funke Cuesta is with Ingrosso on the trip. Until now, followers had learned little about him beyond that he is half German, half Spanish, and based in Barcelona.
In the vlog, Ingrosso says her boyfriend joked that he could have a bigger following than she does if he had documented all of his travels. “I mean, if I had brought a camera on all my trips and started vlogging, and felt comfortable with it,” Cuesta says with a laugh.
Cuesta says he has traveled widely in South America, including Argentina, Peru, Bolivia and Colombia, where he also studied. He reveals that he speaks four languages: Spanish, German, English and Portuguese.
He is based in Barcelona and, for some time, also in Bali. He says his work takes him to different places around the world, which makes his job flexible.
“I have a team here and a team in Spain and Germany that I have to check in with. It is of course also an enormous privilege to be able to travel to these places,” he says.
