Zidane France squad goalkeepers Nations League, Digi Mart USA News: The trend ahead of the squad announcement for France’s Nations League matches points to continuity in goal. Just hours before the list for the games against Italy on November 12 and Turkey on November 15 is released, the three goalkeepers who featured in Zinedine Zidane’s first training camp in charge are expected to be recalled.
According to RMC Sport, the coach is likely to call up Mike Maignan of AC Milan, Guillaume Restes of Toulouse and Jean Butez of Como. Robin Risser of Lens, who was initially called up in September but replaced through injury by Butez, would be the one to miss out on this selection.
During the last camp, Maignan played the first three matches, against Turkey, Belgium and Italy. He gave way to Restes for the fourth match, a 4-1 win over Belgium, with Zidane giving the Toulouse keeper his first cap with the senior team.
