Philip Denié Dahl Petersen, 37, was sentenced Friday afternoon to four years in prison by the Frederiksberg court.

He was found guilty of possessing two kilograms of cocaine and of escaping from Vestre Fængsel in February of this year. Dahl Petersen was at large for just under a month before the Copenhagen Police arrested him at a allotment garden association in Sydhavnen on March 2.

Police seized two kilograms of cocaine during the same arrest. Dahl Petersen and another man, Peter Karlsson, 32, were convicted of possessing the cocaine, which both admitted during the trial.

Karlsson was sentenced to seven years and six months in prison, partly as a additional sentence to a previous conviction.

A 66-year-old woman and a 29-year-old man were acquitted of possessing the cocaine. However, they were convicted of concealing Dahl Petersen in the allotment garden.

The woman was sentenced to four months in prison, and the man to six months.

The two had been held in custody since March and were able to leave the Frederiksberg court as free people.
