U2 Olympiastadion Berlin 2027 concerts, Digi Mart USA News: Weeks of speculation have ended: U2 will bring their “The Greatest Show On Earth World Tour” to Europe in summer 2027. The Irish band is now planning two concerts in Germany at Berlin’s Olympiastadion.
According to an update dated November 5, 2026, a additional show on July 1, 2027 has been confirmed due to strong demand for “The Greatest Show On Earth.” The band’s previous German visit was in 2018, during its Experience + Innocence Tour.
The tour is set to support the band’s new album, “Carnaval de Luz,” and will include stadium dates across Europe, North America and South America. Berlin’s Olympiastadion shows are scheduled for late June and early July.
Besides the German dates, U2 have announced summer 2027 concerts in Stockholm, Paris, Amsterdam, London and Milan. Fans registered for the Ticketmaster artist presale could select up to three shows of the European tour per fan or Ticketmaster account.
The band, active for roughly 50 years, held 40 sold-out residency concerts at the Sphere in Las Vegas in 2023 and 2024 to celebrate the anniversary of “Achtung Baby.”
“Carnaval de Luz” is U2’s 16th studio album and their first with new material in nine years. Its twelve songs combine anthemic rock moments with more reflective tones and explore friendship, freedom, spirituality and perseverance.
The album is scheduled for release on Friday, November 13, 2026, marking the 50th anniversary of the band.
The third single from the album, “The Greatest Show On Earth,” was co-written with Brian Eno and recalls the mid-tempo anthems that brought U2 their greatest successes. The setlist for the 2027 stadium tour has not yet been announced.
Fans who want to attend are advised to save U2 as a favorite in the Ticketmaster app to receive updates on ticket sales for the 2027 European shows.
