Bleiswijk N209 crash injures two, firefighters cut open car, Digi Mart USA News (Bleiswijk, Netherlands): Two people were seriously injured in a serious accident along the provincial N209 road near Bleiswijk, according to the publisher’s report. The victims were taken to hospital.
The crash occurred at the height of the Prismalaan Oost, near an industrial estate. One car reportedly struck a lamppost and then went down an embankment.
At the bottom of the embankment, that vehicle then collided with an oncoming car, according to news photographers cited by the publisher.
Both vehicles were severely damaged. Firefighters had to cut open one of the vehicles to free the occupant.
The force of the impact scattered debris across the N209, and the Prismalaan Oost also suffered considerable damage.
The N-road was closed between the Moerkapelle exit and Zoetermeer-Oost on Friday morning. The N209 between Bleiswijk and Zoetermeer was temporarily closed in both directions.
