GTA 6 release and Rockstar Games promotional screenshots, Digi Mart USA News (United States): Rockstar Games has released a few dozen new screenshots from GTA 6 to mark the game being two weeks away from launch.
After 13 years of waiting, GTA 6 is finally almost here. The game is exactly 14 days away from release in the United States, and fans are eager to return to Vice City.
To help ease the wait, Rockstar has released 39 new screenshots that offer fresh looks at Vice City, the people who live there, strip clubs, and some of the crimes that Jason and Lucia will commit.
Rockstar released what is expected to be the final trailer for GTA 6 last month, which has aired on television constantly since its online debut. The game’s marketing is also hard to miss, with billboards, posters and bus decals covering cities around the world.
Rockstar has taken a large-scale approach in Miami, taking over the Miami Heat arena with GTA branding, selling in-universe beers at bars, and flying a Vice City blimp over the city. Rockstar has effectively turned Miami into Vice City in real life, showcasing the game’s cultural influence.
On November 18, Rockstar will host a special event it calls “A Night in Vice City,” featuring a special NBA game between the Miami Heat and the Milwaukee Bucks. The Heat will be renamed the Vice City Heat, wear GTA-themed jerseys and play on a new court.
It is unclear whether other events will take place in the city, though that would not be surprising. Miami nightclubs have also been converted into GTA-themed clubs over the past couple of weeks.
GTA 6 will release on November 19 for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Pre-loading begins on November 10 and will require 212 GB of storage space.
The game has reportedly accumulated an estimated $750 million in pre-orders, suggesting it could break a large number of records once it launches.
