Antoine Dupont and Isabelle Ithurburu relationship, Digi Mart USA News: Isabelle Ithurburu has known Antoine Dupont, captain of the France national rugby team, for several years and shares a special connection with him. In an interview with Télé 7 Jours, the TF1 journalist spoke about their relationship and explained why she would very much like to host him on her program, 50′ Inside.
Despite her closeness to the world of rugby, the presenter has never hosted the scrum-half of Stade Toulousain on her show. She would like to change that, although she does not want to rush things.
“I know him, he is very private. I am not sure he would dare to discuss anything other than rugby,” she said.
Ithurburu emphasized the bond she has built with the player over the years. “I have watched him start out and evolve, I have a special relationship with him, and I do not want to force him,” she said.
She knows that an interview with Dupont could be delicate, particularly if the conversation turned to more personal subjects.
The door nonetheless remains wide open. “He knows I would like to host him, and I think it will happen one day, but everything in its own time,” she added.
She has no intention of pressuring the French captain into the interview.
The two will cross paths this Saturday at the France match against Fiji. Dupont is expected to appear on Le Mag, a segment Ithurburu said she is looking forward to.
“He will be in his place on Le Mag, after the matches. Having him there is already a chance, and an immense joy.”
