Ozzfest Makes Its First-Ever Mexico Stop in 2027

Ozzfest returns to Mexico in 2027: The rock and metal festival created by Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne will hold its first-ever Mexico edition on September 18, 2027, at Estadio GNP Seguros in Mexico City, the first edition since Ozzy Osbourne's death in July 2025.

Ozzfest returns to Mexico in 2027, Digi Mart USA News (Mexico City): Ozzfest, the rock and metal festival created by Ozzy Osbourne and his wife Sharon, has announced it will return in 2027 with three concerts, one of them in Mexico, which will host the event for the first time in its history.

The Mexico City date is set for September 18, 2027, at Estadio GNP Seguros, as part of a series of performances that will also take place in the United Kingdom and the United States. The return carries special meaning: it will be the first edition of Ozzfest since Ozzy Osbourne died in July 2025, and Sharon will be responsible for selecting the bands that take part.

Ozzfest was born in 1996, when Ozzy and Sharon decided to create a space dedicated to heavy metal and hard rock. Over the years, the festival became one of the genre’s most important stages, bringing together established bands and groups just beginning their careers.

Artists who performed on its stages include Black Sabbath, Slipknot, System of a Down, Pantera and Marilyn Manson. For many bands, taking part in Ozzfest meant the chance to perform before thousands of people and reach a much larger audience.

The most recent edition was held in December 2018 in Los Angeles, with Ozzy as the headliner. Although there had been talk in recent years of reviving the festival, its return had not materialized until now.

Ozzfest will now return on three dates: July 10 in Milton Keynes, United Kingdom; September 11 in San Bernardino, California; and September 18 in Mexico City.

Sharon Osbourne said the festival will remain an important part of Ozzy’s legacy, as he always sought to open doors for new generations of musicians.

The Early BAT presale begins Friday, November 6, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. through Ticketmaster Mexico.

The organizers have not yet revealed which bands will make up the lineup. Names will be announced in the coming months.
