The delegation includes seven students from Escuela Secundaria General No. 6 José Guadalupe Posada, four from Escuela Primaria Magisterio Nacional, and five from Bachillerato Cívico Estatal Lanceros de Aguascalientes. The students will design and program robots to share their projects with teams from different countries.

ROBOchæmpions, formerly known as RoboRAVE Germany, is based at the Lörrach-Tumringen sports complex and brings together participants from several countries in challenges involving robot construction, programming and operation.

The students have a recent achievement behind them. In August, students from Secundaria General No. 6 took first place worldwide in the FastBot Middle School category at the RoboRAVE 2026 World Robotics Championship in Osaka, Japan, according to the state government, which said that result is motivating the delegation for its new challenge.

The students have also competed in events in Mexico, the United States and Japan. Their participation is part of efforts by the state government, through the Instituto de Educación de Aguascalientes (IEA), to strengthen education in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEAM).
