Pau Billère Handball Coupe de France quarterfinal draw, Digi Mart USA News: The draw for the Coupe de France quarterfinals was held at midday, and Pau Billère Handball (PBH), the last Proligue representative in the competition, will host its opponent on December 18 or 19.
After defeating Limoges in the previous round, PBH will be the only second-division club in the quarterfinals. The club had been eagerly awaiting the draw, knowing it would have home advantage regardless of the opponent.
The opponent is Chartres, currently 10th in Starligue. The match is scheduled for December 18 or 19.
The Eure-et-Loir club is not unfamiliar to PBH, as the two teams competed in the lower divisions before Chartres settled in the Elite from 2019 onward.
Chartres is currently coached by Thierry Anti, the former emblematic coach of Nantes.
