Hauts-de-France Weather Forecast: Brighter Thursday Than Wednesday, With Clouds Returning Later

Hauts-de-France weather forecast for Thursday, November 5: Clear, sunny skies are expected across the region after a cloudier Wednesday, though temperatures continue to fall and clouds are forecast to build late in the day ahead of a minor deterioration on Friday.

Hauts-de-France weather forecast for Thursday, November 5, Digi Mart USA News (Hauts-de-France, France): Anticyclonic conditions will bring clear, sunny skies across the region today. Residents should dress warmly this morning, as temperatures continue to drop.

Conditions remain anticyclonic today, but the outcome will differ from yesterday. A mostly cloudless sky is expected everywhere from sunrise, with some haze possible over the higher ground of the Pas-de-Calais.

As the day progresses, sunny spells will generally prevail with little overcast weather, except late in the day, when high-altitude clouds are expected to move in from the southwest ahead of a minor deterioration forecast for tomorrow.

Tomorrow, sunny spells will continue in Nord-Pas-de-Calais. In Picardy, thicker clouds are expected to move in, and a few drops of rain are possible but should remain negligible.

Temperatures will range from 2 to 11 degrees Celsius.

Saturday will bring generally cloudy skies across the Hauts-de-France.

Sunday will see similar weather, with showers expected as conditions move north.

The region is under an anticyclonic lid today, which will concentrate emissions of local air pollutants, particularly fine particulate matter PM2.5, at ground level. However, a moderate easterly wind should help disperse them.

This setup will produce a degraded air quality index in the Pas-de-Calais and a moderate index in the rest of the Hauts-de-France.
